Ayurveda and Naturopathy are traditional, holistic systems of healing focused on promoting balance, restoring vitality, and preventing disease through natural, drugless therapies.
| System | Origin & Core Concept | Key Therapies & Methods |
| Ayurveda | 5,000-year-old ancient Indian system based on balancing the body’s three biological energies (Doshas: Vata, Pitta, Kapha). | Herbal remedies, dietary adjustments, yoga, pranayama (breathwork), and detox therapies (Panchakarma). |
| Naturopathy | A drugless system that relies on the five natural elements (Pancha Mahabhutas) and the body’s innate self-healing capacity. | Mud therapy, hydrotherapy, fasting, sunbaths, massage, and whole-food nutrition. |
Shared Goal: Both systems prioritize addressing the root cause of illness—rather than just suppressing symptoms—by aligning lifestyle, diet, and nature to maintain physical and mental health.
In Ayurveda, the three Doshas—Vata, Pitta, and Kapha—are biological energies derived from the five natural elements (Panchamahabhutas). They govern every physical, mental, and metabolic function in the human body. Every individual has a unique combination of these three forces (Prakriti), with one or two usually dominating.
